YoYo Alma is a natural wine produced in the Roussillon region near Banyuls-sur-Mer, France. The vines are grown in black schist soils, contributing to the wine s distinctive mineral profile. The vineyard, managed by Laurence Manya Krief (known as Yoyo), is farmed organically and uses no synthetic chemicals. Alma is a blend of 60% Grenache and 40% Mourvèdre. Fermentation is done with native yeasts and involves minimal intervention, ensuring the wine retains its natural character. No sulfur is added, and the wine undergoes carbonic maceration, highlighting the freshness and fruit purity.
Alma is bursting with raspberry, redcurrant, and cherry flavors. It has refreshing acidity and a smooth, drinkable texture. It is light-bodied with a touch of minerality and a juicy, supple palate.
