Marto Weiss Rheinischer Landwein is a skin-contact white made from Muller-Thurgau, Riesling, and other grapes grown organically in the Rheinhessen region of Southern Germany. Spontaneous fermentation with native yeasts, unified, no added sulfites or any other substance.
The Producer: Marto
Marto is the brainchild of Flonheim Martin Wörner, a brilliant winemaker who honed his craft at Gut Oggau and Matassa, working in the Rheinhessen region of Suthern Germany. Martin farms his vineyards organically and he is a non-interventionist in the cellar. Native yeasts, no fining, no filtration, no added sulfites, no additives in general.
