Mephisto Cabernet Franc is a biodynamic red wine from the Loire region of France. This wine is crafted from Cabernet Franc grapes grown in a vineyard with granitic subsoils, which impart a distinctive minerality to the wine. The vineyard is farmed biodynamically, with meticulous soil management, manual leaf-pulling, and hand-harvesting of all fruit, ensuring the utmost quality.

The grapes are destemmed, followed by a 12-day cuvaison with indigenous yeast fermentation. The wine is then aged for 15 months in a combination of amphora and old barrels, with no sulfur added throughout the process. An expressive nose with aromas of small black berries and white pepper, this wine is round and flattering on the palate.
